Tunnels to Towers Foundation to Pay Off Mortgages for Families of Slain NY Police Officers

A foundation created to honor Stephen Siller, a firefighter killed on Sept. 11, to pay off the mortgages of two slain NYPD officers.
The Foundation raised $860,000 in donations, another $150,000 has been pledged.
The money will be used to pay off the families mortgages and make repairs to the homes, left over funds will go directly to the two families.

The Stephen Siller Foundation
The foundation was created to honor fallen first responders. It was initially formed February 2003 to honor Stephen Siller a firefighter lost on 9/11. Tunnel to towers has multiple programs including a 5k run/walk and the Bother to Brother program which asks Fire departments outside the new York city area to join in the fundraising efforts.
